Library rental now available!
Books from the UK's largest publisher are now available for your school's elibrary via RM Books.
From picture books for pre-schoolers to challenging reads for teens, there's a range of children's titles to suit all ages. Look out for bestsellers from Jacqueline Wilson, Terry Pratchett, Roald Dahl, Jeff Kinney and Malorie Blackman.
Once added to your school's elibrary, Penguin Random House ebooks can be borrowed and read at school, at home or on the go, even when school is closed.
I like reading now – I read a lot more at home even… on my phone, my iPad, my brother’s games console…
Further Penguin Random House book packs will be added shortly.
Discovering popular authors’ books in your school elibrary will help encourage your students to read for pleasure. For example:

Now the children are reading at home. They’re enjoying the fact that they can access the books at any time, whenever they feel like it and on any device. Some of the children are reading and sharing picture books with their younger brothers and sisters, which is a lovely aspect.
Why not ask your students to help top-up your new elibrary? Ask them to pick the books:
You add a core set of engaging books to your elibrary using our time-saving Book Packs.
Students combine search and filter categories to find age-appropriate, interesting and engaging books they'd like to read, then submit Book Requests.
Student choice is key to ensuring titles are actually read. You can check that's happening for yourself using our Reports.
It's a great way to get the most from your elibrary investment.
RM Books is the first ebook solution specifically designed for schools. By overcoming barriers to adoption (high cost, the lack of a central management system and device restrictions), RM Books makes it easy for school to use ebooks.
RM Books is free to use and requires no upfront investment. It provides access to high-quality etextbooks, curriculum titles, fiction and non-fiction, as well as free use of hundreds of classic literature ebooks.
We have also updated the recommended book lists for KS2 and KS3, plus the set texts for GCSE/A Level and SQA National 5 and Higher English to reflect the wonderful content from Penguin Random House that can now be added to your school library.
